Finding an Advisor
Each chapter must have at least one individual who is
recognized by the sponsoring institution. This individual
will be recognized as the chapter advisor by the sponsoring
institution, state association and DECA Inc. The amount
of time invested by the advisor depends on how the chapter
is operated. Ideally, student leaders should conduct most
of the operations. For a current club advisor, such as
a local business club, adding the benefits of Delta Epsilon
Chi to your current program is very simple. Admissions
personnel sometimes serve as advisors as a way to recruit
students to the school or program.
